We have a small olive grove with about 200 olive trees, many of them centuries old, with the varieties Cordovil, Verdeal and Cobrançosa, which give a spicy and bitter note to the olive oil.
Olive trees grow among meadows of clover and wildflowers, where sheep graze and bees colect pollen.
The olives from our small olive grove are picked in the traditional way, in less than 24 hours, and delivered to a modern olive press, for the production of our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Quinta da Moita.
